MODA, BCBS, PacificSource, Humana, Triwest, Providence, OHP (OHSU, PacificSource, Providence, CareOregon only)
Lydia draws from several modalities to facilitate the health and well-being of her patients. She enjoys combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, and Shiatsu into the majority of her sessions. A typical treatment may include other techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, and lifestyle advice. The goal is always to have patients leave the treatment table feeling refreshed, calm, and empowered towards their natural healing process. Lydia strives to tailor each treatment to the individual’s needs and meet them where they are at, while reminding them of their innate resilience and strength.
Lydia attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she found an immense passion for the dynamic possibilities and treatment styles that Chinese Medicine can provide. Lydia has advanced training in Shiatsu and Tuina styles of bodywork, as well as a deep passion and understanding of herbal medicine. As well as treating several acute and chronic pain management issues, Lydia enjoys working with individuals managing mental health concerns, women’s health, and digestive issues.
When she is not in the clinic, Lydia tries to spend as much time as she can in the woods hiking, backpacking, and participating in various outdoor activities. She believes that there is a strong correlation between Chinese Medicine and nature. When in Portland on her spare time, she can be found biking to a local park or body of water, rollerskating, or adding to her record collection.

Sarah is a licensed acupuncturist, bodyworker and board certified herbalist. She earned her Master’s in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She will be joining us for the Summer as a locom tenens provider
Sarah’s aim is to meet the patient where they are at any given time. She believes this is the best way to build safety in the nervous system - a critical element in any path to healing.
Her focus includes pain, mental health, reproductive and hormonal health, sleep, digestion and the intricate intersection between them all. Beyond her areas of focus, she treats a wide range of concerns. In addition to acupuncture, services include moxa, cupping, gua sha, bodywork and herbal medicine. Each is treatment tailored to each person in real time.
The human form has fascinated her since she was child and only continues to do so as she learns more each day.
Sarah’s style blends gentle traditional Japanese and Classical Chinese styles with modern orthopedic treatments. She is eager to share any wisdom she has learned with her patients so that they can feel empowered in their day to day health.
She feels it is the deepest honor to help people feel at home in their own bodies and more like themselves through the wisdom of Chinese Medicine.
Outside of the clinic you can find her buried in a textbook or in the woods with her toddler, husband and little dog.
